COVID-19 Office Information

Updated April 30, 2020

Dear Patients,

We are excited to announce that we will be returning to the office on May 11th! We are continuing our commitment to the safety of our patients and staff.

On top of our already built in CDC and OSHA infection control practices, the following extra safety precautions have been implemented in our office:

-Use of N95 and level 3 surgical masks with face shields for our treating staff members

-High evacuation intra-oral suction, Ivory ReLeaf, to aid in the reduction of dental aerosol during hygiene and surgical procedures.

-Medical grade (h13) HEPA air purifiers in each treatment room

-All patients will rinse with a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide mouthwash prior to any hygiene or surgical procedures to decrease viral and bacterial load.

-One time use pens to sign any paperwork in the office

-Available Hand Sanitizer

-Sanitizing of all common area door handles between patients

-Forehead temperature scan as needed

-Prescreening COVID-19 questionnaire

-One patient in the office at any given time to reduce contact and encourage social distancing

-Magazines and the Keurig machine have been removed from the waiting room to reduce cross contamination.

We have also implemented some additional guidelines for all patients entering our office. We understand that some of these may be inconvenient, however our goal is to decrease everyone’s exposure risk. By working together we can minimize our risk!

-Please bring and wear a mask while inside the office. Due to the nationwide shortage of PPE, we unfortunately cannot provide masks.

-Office visits will be limited to those patients with scheduled appointments. If someone is accompanying you to the appointment, please have them wait outside the office or in the waiting room wearing a mask.

If you had an appointment which was canceled between March 16 through May 8, we will be contacting you in the upcoming week to reschedule this missed appointment. If you have an upcoming scheduled appointment on May 11 and onward, we will keep your appointment but may adjust the time or date to allow for proper social distancing between patients.

Thank you for your continued support and confidence in our practice. We are looking forward to seeing you!
